About John Alford

A twenty-one-year member of a police force in Northern Virginia, Officer John Alford has combined his love of racing with his desire to honor those fellow officers  who have lost their lives in the line of duty. Alford has had a long career racing in various circuits. He spent a year in the dirt, racing in the Sportsman league, followed by a year of Oval Sportsman and three year of Oval Late Model racing. He's driven race cars, periodically, over the past five years and has enjoyed his two seasons participating in Arena Racing USA.

John created 91-1 Racing to help support the Virginia Public Safety Foundation, which provides counseling services to the family members of the Fallen Heroes and creates scholarships for the surviving children. The race team attends car shows, displays, grand openings, expos and a variety of other events in its effort to raise awareness for the Cause. All donations, and remaining sponsorship funds, at the end of the racing season, will be given to the Foundation to help further these efforts. As a 501(c)3 charity, your donations are tax deductible.
